I'm Angela Strassheim, and I’m an award-winning, internationally recognized artist and photographer. And I have spent most of my career developing the ability to tell powerful, emotional, raw stories, with a single frame.
Your story, the story of your family, is just as beautiful and raw as the collections I've put together for exhibitions - and I would be honored to capture it. But not only do I want to make portraits of your family, I want you to know that I will come along with you on the journey.

I don't want to photograph one session, I want to become your photographer. The person who shows you the art that is your life, again and again.
But on to the logistics - Angela Strassheim Photography operates out of Easton, CT, and serves the entire state of Connecticut as well as the Hudson Valley and all of NYC. The Process is Straightforward
Reach Out, & We'll Talk
Step one, is getting a conversation started. We'll talk about what your vision is for your photos, your priorities - and the varying ways I can meet those needs. If we're a good fit, we'll move on to step two.
The Logistics
Once we've determined we're a good fit, we'll take care of the administration side of things, like your contract, payment, package inclusions, and confirming any add-ons you want included.
Your Photos
Then, of course, it's time for us to capture your memories. Whether it's an afternoon session, or multiple days of events and celebrations, this is where artistry meets experience, and your memories come to life.
The Unveiling
But it's not over when it's over - because after your photos have been captured, it's time to make them into something you can hold in your hands. You get to relive it all over again.

Your session doesn't have to be in your home, or in a studio - it can happen out in the world, at your favorite park, or a location meaningful to your family.

Sometimes, a session isn't enough - which is why I offer "Day-in-the-Life" packages, where I become your personal documentarian for a day, capturing the beautiful, small moments that make life amazing.
