From the very first step, we’ll collaborate to make sure I’m clear on exactly what you want your final images to feel like. And on your day, I’ll be there to capture photos that are profound, intimate, and meaningful to you. Throughout the entire process, you are the focus – it’s my role to fade quietly into the background, ensuring every moment is genuine.
Because of my fine arts background, whether it’s just me, or me and my collaborators, we bring a unique perspective that highlights your wild love and the perfectly imperfect you. We embrace the individuality of every wedding and couple, capturing the magic of your special day in a way that is beautiful, authentic, and artistic.
A bit more about me, Angela Strassheim
I’m Angela Strassheim, and I’m an award-winning, internationally recognized artist and photographer. Over my time studying and creating art for professionals, collectors, and couples like you, I’ve learned that the most precious moments are not always the ones meticulously set up, with every detail accounted for. There is of course a time and a place for staged, curated photography – but I don’t believe that time and place is your wedding. In fine art photography, part of my job is curating emotion – instilling a feeling through the imagery I capture. But your wedding? Your love? It’s rich, and deep, and worth capturing as it is, unaltered.
Capturing that unadulterated, wild love, is exactly what my team and I will do on your day. But on to the logistics – Angela Strassheim Photography operates out of Easton, CT, and serves the entire state of Connecticut as well as the Hudson Valley and all of NYC. My team and I collectively have over 20 years of experience, mostly from high-art institutions such as Yale, Wesleyan and Pratt. We’re available to travel across the globe, as well as staying local. So no matter where your big day will be… I can be there too.

The Process is Straightforward
Reach Out, & We’ll Talk
Step one, is getting a conversation started. We’ll talk about what your vision is for your photos, your priorities – and the varying ways I can meet those needs. If we’re a good fit, we’ll move on to step two.
The Logistics
Once we’ve determined we’re a good fit, we’ll take care of the administration side of things, like your contract, payment, package inclusions, and confirming any add-ons you want included.
Your Photos
Then, of course, it’s time for us to capture your memories. Whether it’s an afternoon session, or multiple days of events and celebrations, this is where artistry meets experience, and your memories come to life.
The Unveiling
But it’s not over when it’s over – because after your photos have been captured, it’s time to make them into something you can hold in your hands. You get to relive it all over again.

I know we’re living in an increasingly digital world – but that doesn’t mean you can’t have timeless, analog art created for you and your family on your wedding day.
While I’ll admit that I primarily work in a digital format now, my many years’ experience in film formats are more than available to you. Just mention you’d like to talk about the “Film Photography” add-on, and we can discuss the details.

Your engagement photos announce your love to… well, everyone. And we can capture the perfect announcement for you as a couple.
Weddings
Wedding photography packages including just me, multiple photographers, custom hours inclusion, and more.
Elopements
Celebrating love in a smaller, brief ceremony? I have packages available that support your day, no matter its length.
I have a suite of add-ons available, so the celebration can keep going, and so can your memory of it.
Or rather sometimes, it starts early. Wedding package add-ons include standard options like “The Morning After” and “The Family Lunch” – but you don’t have to stick with what’s been done before. That’s not why I do what I do. We can create a custom add-on that meets your needs. Want to trash your dress, or include a package of boudoir photos? Just mention it in your consultation, and we can create an add-on, or suite of add-ons, that meets your exact needs.
